About

Thoughtful, private tools that leave room for your own turban practice and preferences.

What we make

Turban Magazine offers six free tools for planning visual preferences, colours, occasions, fabric, care and a sequence of tying steps. They organize your selections and entries, show their method and let you print or download a copy.

Respect and context

Turbans can carry personal, cultural or religious meaning, and practices are diverse. Our broad visual labels do not name or define traditions. The wearer’s own community, beliefs, preferences and learned method come first. We do not claim that one colour, fabric or tying sequence is appropriate for everyone.

For additional context, see the Horniman Museum’s discussion of Sikh turbans and Britannica’s overview of turbans. These are independent external sources with their own policies; neither endorses this site.

Our boundaries

These are personal planning aids, not universal cultural instruction. The tools do not analyse photographs, guarantee fit or appearance, fetch prices or book services. Fabric and care choices vary; check the actual product label and follow the method relevant to your own practice.

A quieter experience

No sign-up is needed. Tool inputs are processed in the open browser page, and the tools do not offer photo uploads. Downloads and printouts are separate copies that you control.
